The highlight of this place was the lamb kofta, we also really enjoyed the bright green falafel. Fresh pita straight out of the coal fired oven next to us, and the hummus was some of the best we've had outside of the middle east.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...holy moly! This place is one for the record books! Seriously, it's one of the best dining experiences I've had in ages. When I say everything was perfect, I mean everything was perfect. Service? Off the charts--1000/100. Food? Also 1000/100. And the ambiance? Super chic! But let's get to the real reason you're here: the food. Holy cow! My boyfriend and I kicked things off with the blue crab hummus, and let me tell you--it was to die for. Then we dove into the red snapper and lamb kofta. And that red sauce with the lamb? OMG, heaven in a bite! Honestly, I was so busy devouring everything that I didn't even have time to snap a pic before our waiter walked away. To wrap it all up, we shared the chocolate hazelnut pudding--huge mistake. I should've gotten my own because it was that damn good. I'm still mad it took me over 35 years to discover a chocolate dessert this amazing. And with a menu that changes periodically, you better believe we'll be back. Again and again and again! And man I forgot our waitress' name but she had pink hair and she was beyond awesome!

I have seen this place all over food vlogs, so had to try it out on my trip to New Orleans. The pita was heavenly and I wanted to eat it with everything! They are a bit dense so easy to fill up on bread if you don't pace yourself lol. The hummus had great flavor and went perfect with the labneh. The harissa chicken was a tad overcooked, but had great flavor. We finished everything before we were reminded we still had to order dessert...thankfully there's always room for dessert lol. The chocolate hazelnut pudding had the most delicious marshmallow topping that just made the whole dessert so nostalgic. Loved this place and I was super thankful for the recommendations of our waitress.

I love the fresh and healthy ingredients of this restaurant. The blue crab hummus is my favorite and the olives. I ordered the lamb breakfast at a Sunday brunch and it was very good. I walked out completely stuffed. I could eat that bread and hummus all day! The ambiance was relaxing and a chill classy vibe with great service.

Ate dinner here with 6 friends and zero expectations and was BLOWN AWAY. We ordered just about every appetizer and several main dishes and split everything. This was the way to do it! I got to try almost the whole menu. First, I'll say that I'm a labnah fanatic. There are a couple of restaurants in New Orleans that have recently changed their labnah recipe to taste more like tzatziki sauce. Saba is NOT one of them!! The labnah was thick and creamy exactly as God intended. The pita was so fluffy and delicious. It tasted homemade. I arrived before my friends and ordered a drink at the packed bar. Inside was hip and busy. Outside was also busy, in 90-degree weather. Our server was patient and efficient.

Very nice space in a beautiful neighborhood. Well worth a visit. Hummus starters were very good, and the lamb and shrimp main courses were excellent. We got some desserts and they too were delicious as was the Golan Heights Cabernet we ordered. Very friendly and efficient service.

Every single dish was delicious! We came on a Thursday evening and ordered several plates for the table to try and each dish did not disappoint. We had the tabbouleh, blue crab hummus (ABSOLUTE MUST), lamb ragu hummus, kofta, fries, muhammara, and I ordered a French 75 cocktail. Staff was extremely friendly, the ambiance was chill with cute decor to match the Middle Eastern vibe. Absolute must try on magazine street. Adding to my go-to lists when visiting New Orleans!

Tonight we tried a new restaurant what you would not usually expect for New Orleans but maybe sometimes you need a break. We have eaten lots and lots of Middle Eastern food in our life and this really took it. Interesting twist that we really enjoyed. We have to say probably our two favorite dishes for the incredible french fries with a beautiful sauce And hummus with brussels sprouts. I never thought I would say hummus brussels sprouts would be an outstanding dish. The surface was incredible and it's very vegetarian friendly.

Hey, Saba! Girl, you have done it again, constantly raising the bar for us all and doing it flawlessly. I'd say I'm surprised but I know who you are. I've seen it up close and personal. Saba, you make me so proud, and I love you! Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 and normally I don't like sitting so close to other patrons but it's spaced out perfectly. Saba sets the bar high for dining in New Orleans, and i eagerly anticipate my next visit to savor their culinary delights!!

The food at Saba was delicious, simple, and fresh! The humus and pita was definitely the star of the show. I could've eaten the blue crab hummus as a meal alone. The shrimp dish was good, but not as wonderful as the rest of the meal! The green falafel was definitely a favorite as well, even if it is simpler than some of the other options. There was slight disappointment in the chicken not being available, so be prepared for disappointment if going on a weekend or busy time as they may sell out! Service was great and the restaurant has wonderful charm to it! I recommend eating in the lounge if available when making your reservations!
